I hope you learned a little bit about me as an actress and what I can bring to your next project.
My history is as far reaching as my acting training. I was born in New York City, but quickly moved west to Chicago, where my love for performance began. Silly talent shows turned into roles in high school and community theater. At 15, my parents moved my brother and me even farther west to Flagstaff, Arizona, a cool, mountainous oasis in an otherwise blazingly hot state. I continued to perform in my new home and when the time came I never questioned my desire to go to college for acting. My personality directly reflects my relationship to all of these places. I value my connection to nature and open air as much as my affinity for style, theater, and live music.
I sing JAZZ, BLUES, FOLK, R & B and MUSICAL THEATER.
I have a B.A. IN THEATER from NYU | TISCH, where I attended...
THE LEE STRASBERG THEATRE AND FILM INSTITUTE for theater training,
THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ART for Shakespeare training,
STONESTREET STUDIOS for on-camera training.
I have since taken short courses and classes at Barrow Street and William Esper.
In the past I have studied, Meisner, Viewpoints, Lecoq clown, Alexander, Feldenkrais, a number of techniques that defy categorization, and on and on. I try to learn as much as I can as I continue to develop as an artist.
When I am not acting or singing, I am probably reading, seeing theater and film, spending time with my boyfriend and dog, and/or taking classes, both acting and humanities.
